What to Expect

A day of exploring COLOUR and SHAPE through the galleries at Tate Modern. Looking at painters such as Matisse, Delaunay, Leger, Kelly, Zeid, Nicholson and more. We will focus on exploring what colour means, its impact and how different artists use colour to express ideas. We will also immerse ourselves in the colourful new exciting exhibition by Turner Prize winning artist LUBAINA HIMID, sketching from life and learning about her influences. Complete with some colourful art activities too! (Exhibition entry, sketchbook, artist materials and activities all included!) NB. All children will need to bring their own packed lunch, snacks and water bottle. (No nuts)
